Default Operation: Get out of Micro stakes!

    Hi all,

I have been here for some time, and learned much from FTR- however, after cashing out most all of my 1500$ roll in February, leaving about 50$ in , I have been "stuck" in micro level tourneys, and havent gotten the roll over $300. Part of this is my own lack of discipline in playing out of the BR limits, I want to get back to where I was and havent had the patience to play within my roll. So my pattern has been: play above my roll until I donk it under 100$ then go back to grinding at the proper level (3.40s, 5.50s whatever), then start to build it up again, then think I have enough to move up when I dont- and donk it away to <100 again, etc.
In particular, I have the tendency to play large field MTTs I have no business playing, reasoning "I'm due, all I need is 1 win" . To be honest I have been running pretty bad the last few months in MTTs, so that hasnt helped my confidence either.

Any suggestion on where to go from here? I want to get my BR back above 1K, but I am getting burned out playing the same old games. My game in the 180s is pretty good, but they are such a grind! I have been playing recently staked games from neverbeg.com, to help with the risk factor, so I'm not risking any of my own roll on those games ( 11$ 18 man SnGs currently), I have built a reputation as fairly solid player/horse there- So that helps to build my roll with virtually no risk. But I just want to build my BR faster, which is tough when I have limited time to play. I am open to suggestions here. Should I try another game for a change of pace? or maybe switch to ring for awhile? I would like to get to the 1K mark by december, and am at 250 ish now.

I was there not too long ago as well mate, although I was already playing cash games. If you can beat them they will get you out the micros, well to the higher micros a lot faster than tournaments.
I started a new job so don't play much ATM, just FTP mini grind
