Got up early today, which is amazing for a saturday, since I still had about 150 points to get on fulltilt for my 200 in a day in the Ironman challenge and am glad I did.
Cleared another $20 of my bonus and ended up $180 while 4-tabling. Only had one table I couldn't get a handle on and ended up $36 down at it but at two others I was sitting with $199 and $126.
Day got off to a good start when I was dealt AsQs in the big-blind as my first hand at the table, flop came Ks Js 9h and big stack led into my check. Turn came 8s and that was it.
Variance finally kicked my way again but I think I was playing well and making good laydowns and avoinding bad situations. Caught some sick bad flops and managed to either get away from them or bet into them to get a fold (eg holding QQ, flop comes A5A and a c-bet takes it down), managed to bluff into some situations and not get looked up and at times my draws came in.
Hell, even managed to be on the right side of an AA vs KK preflop and have them hold up.
All in all a good day so far, off to grab some lunch and play some 360 and then back into it and see how we go.
