Well I took a little break to clear my head, played no poker during it but got back into some leveling in WoW and watched poker episodes as they became available, took time to think about my game and just get my head straight.
Came back to playing a few days ago, first day back ended up +$163 and thought it was coming back to me but then I got a reload bonus at Party and decided to deposit to it...big mistake. That place has become the same as Absolute was when I left, 1/2-3/4 the table being shortstack ratholers that just make it impossible to play properly by either raising or going ai and taking away any sort of implied odds to play back with.
Ended up losing about $130 there so far and think I'll just pull out of there altogether and shift the money to UB for their current sign-up bonus since I believe it never expires while I currently have about 5 days left to play another 5k hands at party to clear the $100 bonus...just not worth it.
I've also deposited at PokerStars for their current reload and played some 6-max $1/2 limit there tonight which I think I'll stay with there and just slowly move up the limits using my br there as a 300bb inidicator rather than my entire br (otherwise I'd be playing 5/10). I can definatly agree with what people have been saying about the swinginess of LHE and getting used to being rivered, I was up and down most of the session but ended up about $30 at the end of the short session of ~120ish hands. The interesting thing there was that I also cleared 34 fpp towards the bonus and seems to be much quicker than party.
Overall though I'll probably use FullTilt as my main base of playing rather than Stars just due to gettting rakeback at FT. I still have about 5 more sites through my RB provide to do bonuses at, including Vegas (anyone know if they are still as liberal with reloads as Absolute used to be?) so I'll see what they are all like first before making a decision since if one ends up being clearly better to me and I still get rb it seems silly to not play there the most.
So yeah, will see how my sanity holds up to the swings again (least I was only out 4 weeks this time rather than 40 ) and hopefully be able to stay focused and move on up to beat Jimmy's target of 12/08 heheh.
