Although I am a winning player at both sng/tournies and ring games, I really enjoy the former a lot more. Even though its still a grind, the sessions define themselves a lot better and I seem to be less tilt prone playing them.

However, I feel it is important for me to learn how to play ring games. Although I do plan to one day become a mostly tourney player, I can see there is a lot of money to be had in cash games.

I am now making it a goal to achieve a nice working bankroll of 10k by the end of '09, if not get to at least 100NL. After that, I plan to still play cash games as an income but to start playing some tournies on the side, both live and online.

Written down this looks like a lofty goal, but I have built a 2k+ bankroll 4 times now.. I am bound and determined not to cash out again unless I have to before reaching my goal.

I realize that my game is still in its infancy, I have only been playing 18 months and am not going to set anymore specifics. I am sure I will specialize at some point and who am I to decide that now while I am still a newbie donk.

Starting BR- $10 (3/1/09)
Current BR- $429 (4/17/09)
Goal- Get BR to $3,000 and play 100NL by the end of '09
