I endured a 6 buy-in downswing over about 2,500 hands this week. Over the last 2,000 hands I was up almost 8 buy-ins so all is good. Its amazing how quickly the poker Gods can cut you down to size no matter the stakes. I was down $60 in about 2 hours the other day, it definately opened my eyes. Cooler after cooler.. it was actually pretty funny to see that many sets, quads, straight flushes gotten against me.. 20+, 3, and 2 respectively. I never thought it would end.

At any rate. I seem to be back on track now and am hoping to have a few good sessions in a row and push towards 25NL by months end. I just wish I had more time to play. Between a job that I work 60-80 hours a week and a 22 month old daughter, time is hard to come by. Its probably in my best interest to find some more time as I have been running at about $15/hr at 10NL.. if only I can convince my wife that its a viable second job. She still looks down upon it and dismisses it as an annoyance to her evne though I've made about 3k this year doing it. Anyone got any ideas on how to get her on board with it?

I promise to find some hands to post! There aren't that many tough spots at these stakes.. people are either weak passive or idiot-aggressive.. solid people that get into your head are really hard to find.
