My BR just hit the $100 mark today.

I have had a few mini-swings in the past few days but I just checked my stats and I am still running 24BB/100 over the past 10 days... so I guess there's nothing to be alarmed about.

I have been playing 45 minutes to an hour most days since the month began and although it is taking me forever to get to 5NL I am okay with that.. I spend 90% of my poker time studying the game (reading books, watching videos, reading FTR etc) rather than playing.. I feel it is better overall for my game. I want to eventually play in the mid-stakes games and beyond and I know I have a ton to learn before I can make it there... playing a ton of hours simply isn't going to be enough.

Speaking of which in case you didn't know, I won one of the luckyslev1n scholarships and got a 1 month subscription to the low stakes videos on grinderschool.com. I've already watched and re watched a couple of the videos and feel they are well worth the price of a membership. I will definitely be joining later on the get access to the higher stakes videos once I get to 50NL and beyond.

Additionally, I made it to round two of the n00b heads up tourney. I will be playing IOPQ either Thursday or Friday.. wish me luck.
