Operation I want an Operation thread

I am inclined to agree with you, Is. I think I wanted to check the turn because at the time I thought it would be easy to call most rivers. I also wanted to avoid a turn raise because I felt like it would be gross if he did so, and I thought he might raise me often with a heart draw.

But I agree that he probably doesn't check flush draws on the flop, so can I think about something other than a fold if I bet the turn and he raises?
