Default Operation: Increase bankroll to $500 by Sept 1st

This is my first time on the forums, and I just wanted to set some goals to keep me in check.

So currently, I have a $200 bankroll on titan poker, and i'm trying to build it to $500 in a month.

I'm still pretty new in poker, i played for fun for a long time, but never thought about strategy or anything until lately. I've read the theory of poker and also the super system by Doyle.

My bankroll has experienced a lot of variance, I started with $150, then I grinded up to in a few days, then I placed 2nd in a small tourney, and won $150. So my bankroll jumped to just over $300.
I then started playing $20NL which i realize i'm underrolled for, i had some success but also some bad days, and yesterday I just went on tilt, so now i'm down to $200 again, so I have to moving down to $10NL again.

I am a decent live poker player, I usually go up about $100 or $200 a night at $200NL in casinos, but online poker hasn't been that kind to me.

I'm just wondering if there is any advice for me, what posts to read? how to play? etc.. Just things to get me started.

Thanks for all the help in advance

Your best bet would be to read the op threads of the microgrinders. Recently, Dranger and M2M both had pretty meteoric rises from <$100 up to $2k+. They both used strict bankroll management and posted a lot here and in BC. Reading their op threads will be both educational and inspirational when things go rough.

    I have a quick question.
What are your views on whether to play multitable at the microstakes or stick to one table.
I find that when I play a single table, I take more note of how people play, so I can take the right chances when I need to. So I play more agreesive.
However, when I play multitable, I usually do 4, I find that i'm more concentrated on just my hand and can't pay attention to everyone else, so i'm playing a lot of drawing hands and strong hands, and I play much tigher than normal.
I actually haven't played long enough to really tell the difference between the 2 methods, I've had ups and downs with both.
Just wondering if anyone can give me some insight on which way to persue.
    Thanks

Single-table for learning, multi-table for grinding.

Playing a single table will make you better quicker. When you see that you're beating your stake for a decent clip and you feel that you're ready to move up but your bankroll wont allow it, add a table or two.

So I did a lot of reading on this forum today, funniest thing I've read was the noobie circle of death, haha, so very very true!
I think the biggest change i made today is going back to basics. Playing tight and agreesive poker, and back down to one table, and getting more reads.
I haven't had much time to play today because of the reading and busy at work, but i grinded at a $10NL table for around 50min, and went up $8.50, almost a double up.
Is that ok for 50min of play?? Because I still don't understand the
xxbb/100 part, what does that mean??

Yeah, it's a really good session outcome. However, you shouldn't focus on short term results (good or bad) but on whether or not you're making the correct, most +EV decisions on every hand, all the time.

    From The Poker Mindset:
Just because you are winning does not mean you are playing well, and just because you are losing does not mean you are playing badly.
