You made the right play. The "outlast the other short stack" game ends once you make the money. After the bubble, you are going after the top prize. I used to do that "outlast" thing until I realized it costs me money in the long run. Don't assume your opponent will get eliminated. You will see that as you pass up opportunities your opponents seize theirs and you end up on the rail 1st. Hindsight is always 20/20. Just stay focused on trying to make the best decisions consistently. Being results oriented will only ruin your game.
