Operation Micro Stakes

I've had a few ops before, but mainly they dwindled out due to not posting/lack of motivation/donking off my roll etc etc. Anyway, this month I'm really motivated to play well and grind 25NL.

This thread is to keep track of my progress and hopefully to get a few players to give me solid advice so I can progress. I don't really talk poker with anyone, I just read whats on here, so to get a few AIM/MSN buddies or whatever to chat poker would be great. Just drop me a PM.

GOAL: Grind 2k in Feb

Anyway, progress so far this month has been good. Although not quite as good as noble007 running 10bb/100 over 20k! hehe. I'm running about 6bb/100 but have had a long b/e stretch and a bad start, so I'm doing ok.





If a few ppl could respond every now and then and keep me motivated that'd be great!

Nice looking stats so far this month. I tend to multitable 6 MAX 10NL and 25NL, I find it difficult to play more than 6 tables and actually pay attention to the players at my tables. I play for probably 3-4 hours a day, and only have 14k hands logged this month.

How many tables are you playing at once? How often do you play, and where do you play at?

I 6-9 table, depending on how I feel, the tables and if I'm watching a film at the same time! lol. I'm exclusively playing on stars at the mo, not the softest site I know! I play a few hours when I can after work, not everyday - but when I'm off work I probably log 5-6 hours.

I had the day off yesterday and logged 7k hands, was planning to play 9k to take me to 20k for the week, but got to tired of poker lol

This is probably the most I've played in one week ever and I plan to continue, hope to put in circa 50k hands this month. Hopefully I'll complete my operation!

Do you mind posting yr position stats? Only your attempt to steal stat seems a bit low, just wanna check yr playing positionally aware poker

Yeah, will do later, just at work now.My PFR does increase as I get closer to the button. But I'm probably not raising/3 betting enough on the CO/OTB I think i'm like 7 from UTG and 14 from OTB...anyway I'll post later

GL fella - all looking good so far but yeah, the stealing % is a bit low. Mine's 26% and I need to get that up, I think. Have a look at Spoon's stealing thread, it's very informative.

Position stats:

Well the month hasn't gone to plan! I'm not ashed to admit it! I had a massive breakeven stretch for like 15-20k hands and my bb/100 dropped significantly to like 2-3bb/100.

I've now decided to re-evaluate my game at lower levels. Dropping down to 5 and 10NL wheeeeeee! Low staking! I really feel I should be beating 25Nl for 5-10bb/100 and it's just not happening. Moving down to evaluate/change my game, get win rate good over large sampel and move back up.
