Your bankroll # really only dictates what stakes you play, so as long as you have between $300 and $750, you should be playing $10NL. There should be no shame in dropping down to $5NL if need be. Just ask yourself if you like playing poker and are you playing well? I personally like to play poker and I get the same satisfaction getting pocket aces or a set on an uncoordinated flop or stacking off two villains at once or saying villain's hand out loud before showdown and being right @ $10NL equally as much as @ $2NL. If you are playing well, the results will follow so long as you log enough hands. So, either figure out how to improve you game or patiently wait until you play enough hands. And, don't forget to have fun
BR is not too bad but May has been a swongy-as-hell month with $500<BR<$600. Right now I'm at the lower end. I've got a little over 100k hands at 10NL so it's a bit frustrating to be stuck in neutral and not getting any closer to 25NL. After 2.5 months I'm no closer to 25NL than I was when I started this OP.
I considered withdrawing $200 for vacation just to get something out of playing but then reconsidered but I can't remember why.
I'll just keep grinding along.
