As it turns out... I have fulfilled part of the OP of talking to a tax lawyer a while ago... and it wasn't overly helpful really.

Other than that, I just defended my masters yesterday! Big relief, and I have been focusing on that the last several weeks instead of playing poker. Actually this was the last hand i played and I took it as a sign a week and a half ago to take a break from it:

I've shown it to a few people... and ppl seem to not notice what the hands actually are... pretty brutal! But was a good catalyst to get me focused on my thesis defense.

not sure what my goals should be for the month though..hmmmm.... $15-20k this month at mostly 2/4 seems sweet... get some cash before Vegas next month!
