His aggro play at 400nl won him big money. Not that I'm playing at 400nl, but it made me think. I checked my PT stats from ring with my stats from the SnG's, and found that I am not playing near as aggresive, and not much tighter
Aggressive play is definitely good but at microstakes you have to be very selective with your aggression. When the majority of players are incapable of folding any pair on the flop, the same plays that are profitable at 400nl are often just spew at 20nl. Im not saying dont look at Fnord's Hand Histories, because you can learn a lot from them. You just have to realize that every tactic is dependent on the particular game dynamics and 400nl is drastically different from 20nl. You can definitely learn from seeing how Fnord plays but every piece of advice must be taken in the correct context.
