First off, hello again. I've dropped from this board for a month or so because I've been ashamed of having to drop all the way down to the NL$10.

A little background info...I play for a living, I have since Jan of 05. Before that I played for a living from Jan 04-Sept 04. I live in a nice apartment w/my wife who also plays but right now isn't playing often and plan on moving to a cheaper apartment before April 1st to cut down on costs.

At the beginning of this year I was playing the $10NL just to make sure I could still beat the game of poker. I did and I moved up. With just over $500 in my account I cashed out down to $350. So I pretty much started this year with 14 buyins.

My operation is simple: Don't go broke(again). But I have a problem. I don't play enough. I have only played ~23 hours so far this year and only played 14,889 hands. I tried playing as much as I could a couple days ago and ended at 5.53 hours and ~3700 hands.

I do have some goals though...
1. Play 3k hands/day from 1/12-1/31 except on Sundays because I take care of my lil' girl then.
2. Move up to the $50 on 2/1
3. Move up to the $100 on 3/1
4. Save up to $8k and then try a month of just MTTs with a sprinkling of cash games.

This is how I'm doing so far and while good it sucks because I believe I'm running somewhat well and when I start running bad I will have wished that I had played more during this time so I hope I do starting tomorrow. I'm really hoping this post motivates me.
