Operation X360

Well, the xbox 360 is finally released in australia in about 35 days so I figured I'd use it as incentive to get my ass back in to gear playing poker as well as work on my multi-tabling and perhaps try and work out how to not lose at limit.

Current BR is around $1100 and need to get it up to $1600 to pull out the funds for the X360 (around $600Aus = $450US) but idealy would like to work on a half/double scenario and pull out only half of what I win so as to increase my BR as well.

Therefore:
goal is BR = $1600 by 1 March
ideal goal is BR = $2000 by 1 March

This seems like a good material goal to have. I might buy one soon as well, my buddy has an HD projection unit in his room with his 360. We go over there and play NHL 2K5 all the time, it takes up his whole bedroom wall.

I'm just itching for something to spend my winnings on besides more poker.

Well, MS have delayed the launch of the 360 until 23 March at this stage so looks like my goal got a little easier in terms of average $ per day but still working at it just don't get annoyed if I miss a day playing like I did over the weekend.

Are you bonus whoring? You can probably get at least $400 just in bonuses by your deadline.

No, haven't really been whoring yet since a few of the sites I first tried I just didn't like or had no real games going during my playtime.

At the moment I am just working Absolute and the bonuses there (which given the frequency probably still counts as whoring ) and will look into Party and Pokerstars at some time soon when I have the BR to allow me to take advantage of their bonuses while not missing out on Absolute's.
