Poker Operations Manager: Wishlist?
I've recently begun development again on Poker Operations Manager. It's been long ignored, but the core functionality works.
Yesterday, I fixed the errors that you get when choosing a hands played or tourneys played goal... it tracks them now correctly. If you had trouble before, it should now work properly.
I'm knee deep into version 1.2 now. Coming by Monday will be the following enhancements and features. First, all banners will now have the domain name on them, in a small non-intrusive way. This is so that I can hopefully spread the word about the service, and because a lot of people still don't know where to get them.
The text is going to be updated to be goal specific. The old version really only displayed bank roll... now, it can display tournaments and hands played, depending on your goal.
Also, I'm now adding some new fonts and the ability to choose font colors, so that you're now no longer tied into using strictly dark backgrounds.
That's probably it for version 1.2
What I'm here to ask is what you'd really like to see in the FOLLOWING version.
Some things I already hope to implement:
The ability to set a timer on a goal... IE I want to complete this by the end of march... make my graphic display a countdown.
Better resetting capabilities.
Different graphic sizes. Rather than just be stuck with the banner size, I'm going to include some bigger and smaller options, as well as some vertically oriented ones that could be used as avatars.
Your page will now include copy and paste code for this forum and other popular poker sites, and maybe, just maybe, facebook and myspace.
Also, I'll probably be moving the server to a new location with a new URL. I'm going to expand this out at some point to include more than poker, so I'm going to house it under a better url than talkingapes.com. No idea what that'll be yet.
What I want to know is what else you'd like to see in a future version.
Thanks guys... if you haven't visited the old version, check it out at:
