Rags To Riches Redeux

Whenever, I play a draw, I ask myself do I have fold equity, Like really against this particular villian what will he fold? If the answer is not an easy yes, then Ill play it passively either call or fold. I know that seems weak, but why be more aggressive than you have to be, cause obv you don't need to balance or any of that other crap... Right?
