Just a quick update. Went to the new Montreal poker club 'Poker Playground' on the First Nations reserve with Alexos tonight. All in all it was pretty impressive and outdoes pretty much every Vegas poker room. It has 1. Amazing waitresses (Almost on a Montreal quality stripclub level). 2. Free drinks AND surprisingly great food if you're sitting at a table. 3. A good bar area. 4. Good dealers, fishy games and hot massage girls. All in all it's a clear winner. That being said, it's sadly still live poker and horribly boring when it gets down to it. We played a 125$ freezeout that we both busted pretty quick, then just donked some 1/2$ NL. I was up 600$ at one point but drunkenly donked most of it off when I blanked some big draws to end up a tiny bit on the night while Alexos lost a bit.

As for online, nothing too interesting. Some good, some bad.

Today I dodged this draw, and regardless of what he had I think I played it pretty optimally. Villain is a good reg, and I just don't think good regs are raising Kx here until they know you're going to stack off light and I did not have that dynamic yet with this guy:

And I was pretty miffed about this hand. I really don't know what's best here on the turn and river. Villain is same reg as in the 10-10 hand, he's a solid winner. I just have no clue wtf he has that isn't raise/calling flop or turn and then shoving river, but I also can't find a single hand that I beat so I feel like I can't c/call. Shoving is just flat out way too thin since i only beat 10s right? Just so lost here.
