As my friends know, I'm a pretty chronic bad beat whiner in the moment when it happens. And the general reaction is that 'everyone has bad runs, you don't run any worse than other people'. Anyway, they're wrong. Tonight is but an example of my death runs: I played a 1k hand late night session versus absolute whales tonight. All of this happened in those 1k hands. The feeling of pain and numbness that comes with this kind of run is pretty inexplicable. I mean stop lossing is great sure...but when it's like this, I just assume 'I have to win at least ONE flip'. I also lost like 4 more flips versus shorties and i roughly estimate i lost 11 flips in a row. WTF are the odds of that?
