Bbickes banned me from IRC until I'm 'motivated' again, which is kind of retarded, since I'm not lacking motivation. The fact that I'm being smart enough to realize that I need to take a step back from playing should show that I'm more motivated than I've been in quite some time. I'm still reading and commenting on posts, reading poker books and articles and reviewing some hands. This is probably the most focused I've been in a long time about learning about poker and its because I'm NOT playing for a week or two.

I'm leaving for work in about a half hour, and then I'm going home for the weekend since my brother is getting married on Sunday and I'm the best man. Monday I'll come back and depending on my mood, I'll likely put some hands in. I'm really glad I took this last week off, regardless if it pissed Brett off lol. I think it has been really good for my headspace and likely for my game. This last week I've been almost completely stress free.

When I do play again, I'm going to keep the sessions short, no more than an hour at a time, and no more than 2-4 tables of 6m. Idk if I'm going to go back to the HU sngs or not. If I do, I'm going to put in some sessions at 5nl/10nl 6m, too and do something like daven suggested in m2m's blog. Keep the sessions a half hour to an hour long and just FOCUS on everything at the table.

I had a brilliant idea earlier though. The job I have is a security guard for this factory that is shut down over night on the weekends. My buddy has this small TV that he isn't using so I'm going to take that and my 360 with me lol. My boss doesn't really care, so that should help the hours go by pretty fast. Tomorrow's a 12 hour shift so it'll REALLY come in handy then. -.-
