I think you really need to understand that you could play losing poker on all 10 tables for the first hour of play, and your own failsafes won't let you continue to play at those tables.
This will lead to you playing scared because you don't have enough money online to withstand the immediate variance that could occur. Which is Bad bad bad!!!
If you're going to be playing 10 tables I'd imagine you need 2.5X buyins per table to withstand the possible variance. Which would be 25 buyins for the level.
So my question is this: WTF are you doing playing 10 tables at the same time? Can you beat 10 tables consistently? Why are you only striving for 3bb/100? I'd rather play 5 tables at 5-6 BB/100 and actually learn from my play than earn the same amount and feel pressured all the time.
Hi ragnar yeah I can crush 2nl when I'm on my game, it's just staying on it. TBH It wouldn't or at least shouldn't get to the stage where I'd ever lose 10 buyins on ten tables, because deposit inhibitors aside, I'm now working with a 5 buy in stop loss.
I agree though the deposit inhibitor was not the solution, and I've scrapped that following Jyms suggestion. So far so good. I just need to keep it real, the timing schedule at the start of the blog's helping me alot - I'm no longer getting excited when I stack a couple of people, instead I'm just playing my game and getting excitment from the fact that I'm on schedule. That's what I'm focussing on from here on in. 3bb on average per day. Then if I do get smashed on the tables one evening and lose half my progress I shouldn't be tilted as I can take solice from the fact I'm still ahead of schedule! is what I need to achieve my goal of 100nl by September so that's all I'm worried about for now, If I do better all well and good, but I don't want to put unnescesary pressure on my game.
