thats bad ass that you quit your job.

if you don't mind me asking how much is your roll and how much do you think that one should be before quiting your job

Well, my roll is usually somewhere between 6k-7k but I am constantly trying to grow it when I'm not donking off buyins. Plus about $1k in the bank for backup expenses.

It depends on what kind of job you have if its worth quitting. If you're just some kid like me with a part time job and going to school, then it depends on your living expenses and how hard it is to find another job. I recommend probably 2k in backup expenses in the bank to keep you afloat long enough until you find another job plus a big enough bankroll to cover all your expenses comfortably and still be able to grow it plus be able to comfortably handle those horrible downswings we all have from time to time.

If you're not going to school and have a career type job, then I don't think its ever going to be good to quit that job because of the long term benefits a career has and the uncertain future of online poker. I doubt online poker will ever be a good 20 year career and if you quit your longterm job now, it will be very hard to get back into the workforce with a spotty resume.

I deliver pizza and its a nice job but i'm making more playing poker right now my rolls 2'700 but this job is really flexible and i think instead of quiting (especially now when i don't have that much money) it would be better to work 2 days a week. I really have no living expenses I live with my dad, only have to pay for a car

I'd definitely wait for a while before quitting if I was in your position. You want to have about 2k saved back for hard times and have a much bigger bankroll than you would normally need to play each level.
