I read your blog too. I'm sure a lot of people do, we're all just lazy and never bother to comment. I'll try to fix that up though

Sorry to hear you might have to cash some of your roll out, but if you think about it ... what if you didn't play poker? Where would you get the money then? I would be thanking my lucky stars that I CAN depend on poker for money

Like I said, I don't usually play it like that but this guy was super laggy (72/33/2) and I just wanted to make sure he stuck around. My normal line is to bet $15-$20 on that flop.

working myself up to FTR fullhouse status while not giving 1 solid piece of advice
I was just reading some of your hand histories from the 4 tabling $200NL 6 max - Are players this bad at 200NL? I mean I don't even go All In with only top pair, and I only play NL25 - Are people at 200NL just super aggressive and figure top pair is a monster? You've got people going all in with A,5 when your showing strength and the 2nd Q hits the turn? Wow - I need to move up, and fast

Great job - I'm impressed. I see a few of those hands where you went all in, i woulda been a Tad bit nervous (like the 4 to the flush possible) - Have you played these games for so long that you have no fear? Or do you play a big hand strong and just deal with it if they outdraw you? I love the moves you make, but I gotta say you got balls of steel on some of the moves i've seen - What does it take to become that fearless? Bankroll? Lots of experience? i'm impressed - Keep it up

When i was looking at your hh from may4 (rush) i see alot of players make calls that 25NL players are doing aswell.Did they just do this because u were playing loose or are their many bad players aswell on 200NL?
  25. #25
A little bit of both I think. There are still plenty of donks who will die with top pair.
  26. #26
Cool cool, can't wait to move to 200NL. :P

Had to scroll forever to find this thread. About time you updated, yeesh.

Why did you cash so much money out?

Hm $109s, never tried playing one of those before. Jeffrey says that they're maybe easier than the $55s, what do you think about them? I've got 40 buyins for them but only play $55s, which is fine. Just wondering what you've got to say.

I'm not allowed to play SnGs anyway ...

Honestly, they are pretty tough. It's really easy to get stuck at a table with 3 or 4 other regulars. Some of the bubbles are super tough. I can't really compare them to the $55s because I never really played them. My poker has gone like this $5.50s --> $11s --> 16s --> $22s/$33s/$27s --> MTTs --> 100NL 6max --> MTTs --> 200NL (Full and 6max) --> $109s

I wouldn't recommend playing them seriously until you hit at least 70-75 buy ins because you can experience some sick swings. If you ever decide to play them, I'll let you know who the regulars are.

I cashed out 4.5k for a combination of reasons. I was moving into a new house for this school year and I wanted to make sure I had enough funds to live lavishly (for a college student). i.e. taking my fiancee out to eat steak/the olive garden once or twice a week. I also bought an XBox 360 (Gears of War tomorrow. yay!). My fiancee also wanted me to cash out a bit to make sure we weren't totally broke once we get married next summer.

Anyway, thanks for leaving a comment. I love when people leave comments!

Yeah I didn't think playing them with only 40 buyins was a good idea. Probably fine to take shots at them though. Don't foresee myself playing them anytime soon, but I shall keep your offer in mind.

This is why I need to only date poker players from now on. Preferably good ones ...
