Good question.
Rippy just doesn't speak the same language as a lot of us reguarding poker. For starters, he mostly plays stacks and has a good feel for chicken. This starts to come out when you get him past chest pounding and other results oriented spew.
Then come around to accept that he's probably a winning player. Then stop focusing on what he's doing wrong, that's too darn easy and start looking for the value he finds that makes up for all of that.
Finnally, a lot of his stuff works against weaker players. Strong, (mostly) cash players get the best of him. But weaker players are where all the money is anyway...
