Default 3,000 posts!!! A celebration of FTR

Recently I saw that I eclipsed the 3000 post barrier and I realized: Wow I'm really a loser.

On a serious note, even though I'm a loser when I found this place in 2004 it was after I had learned poker during spring break, when me and my friends played $1 buy in, 5c/10c blinds. I felt like I was quickly improving at poker, even though i wasnt, and the mentorish guys at FTR helped a lot.
This forum was bustling a year later. There were posts every two seconds, I'd regularly get 10 -20 replies on my newbie posts that we now see getting around 5 responses.

Now 2 and a half years later I'm pretty sure I've visited this website every day. This website has ruined my life, it is a horrible black hole, its made me a degenerate, and its made me lend money to people ive never seen before.
And oh its also been so sweet. All the people here have been awesome, from past to present. I just hope we can keep this awesome user base going and we can all become tight nit.
I used to be the guy asking for the advice (I still am), Now I'm taking the responsibility to help the new players (i try ) at this site so they can become another..... me, gabe, rilla, irish. You know, so they can become hooked and become good players.
2 months ago or so I was offered a job by Eric and I just didn't think there was any sweeter job in the world.

You guys are awesome and here's to having awesome lives and making mad monies!

This is important. Why don't these posts get more than 5 responses these days? Let's all try to post more n00b advice.
