3:10 to yuma started off so great but the ending was just a miserable fucking failure.

no country for old men felt a lot like a western in the way the story was written and the cinematography.

Love for Westerns is understandable since they just rock, but some listed in this thread as being great are actually mediocre (Wild Bunch, Open Range, and a few others). Which, like I said, is understandable since Westerns are unique and desireable for non-morons. |

thats funny... I never noticed the no music thing. It definitely did give it an interesting touch though now that I look back on it.

I'm really looking forward to No Country. I can't see it in the theater since I need to watch most shit with subtitles. Coen Brothers are phenomenal, and the no music thing has me going extra since I'm really thrilled to see if they can beat Saving Private Ryan in that arena. SPR did have a theme song in like the beginning, but that's it. It would have been a bit less of a movie if it had music since the sound effects were out of this world. |

My neighbour watched the Ass of Jessy James and said it was just that, ass. Told me not to bother watching it. For reference he enjoyed 3:10 To Yuma.
