I predict that the 3rd seed in the NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs this year will have a losing record - anyone agree? This is ridiculous. The fact that this is possible shows what a flawed ranking system the NBA currently has.

Yea, it's very possible but they have to do that to keep regional interest. At least there's playoffs... It's not really the NBA's fault, that's how it is with the NFL, NHL, and MLB. Some years, there are just certain divisions that are bad. Look at the St. Louis Cardinals. They went 83-79 and went on to win the world series. If they were in the AL, they wouldn't have made the playoffs.

the NBA playoff schedule is just a farce. 16 teams make the playoffs... lol? It reminds me of playing in little kid rec leagues (any sport) where every team makes the playoffs so that the kids don't feel bad.

Why watch a whole basketball game. They're always decided in last 2 minutes.

So true, I can't even stand to watch the NBA until the 2nd round of the playoffs.

I get a kick out of watching pretty much any Suns game (i would have steve nash's babies if i could). But I agree that i don't get much enjoyment out of watching random bball games. That and my Raptors freakin' suck.
