    Default Americans Reclaim the Title

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

haha, hell yeah! I actually watched this on ESPN. I'll be honest, even as an American who is proud to have this title that we've so dearly earned, the 'tie' in regulation was a stretch. You could see that the 59th dog wasn't in Chestnut's mouth when regulation was over, but he was covering his mouth with his hand and eventually got it in.

Still though, 59 hot dogs in ~10 minutes is nothing short of incredible. Then, taking a rest (i.e. allowing your body to process the information), and pounding 5 more as quickly as possible.... that's gotta be rough. It was entertaining to watch, in a somewhat comical way.

Really? To be honest, I wasn't watching all that closely, so I could easily be wrong.

    unreal.
I never understood these type of contests. It makes absolutely no sense to me to eat 60 fucking hot dogs.
    3 3 3 I'm only half evil.
