By amateur physics do you mean be taught physics or that you have a firm understanding and you're trying to explore new fields?
Neither.. I mean getting a bit tipsy and chatting about dark matter, ways to diss the Big Bang theory, balance within the universe, and anything else incomprehensible that comes to mind.. No knowledge, just throwing some amateur theories down.. Pretty much the same way people talk about sports whilst knowing fuck all about it. ("Man, that manager sucks, he's playing totally the wrong formation")
