Give me a break. It shouldn't matter *EITHER* way, but at the very least, don't try to put that BS spin on it. By that I mean if you're going to slam white voters who won't vote for him because he's black (which you should, and I agree with you), you should also slam black voters who vote for him because he's also black.

You're right that it shouldn't matter but given black history in the USA it definitely does matter, to blacks. Before Obama's nomination, many blacks thought electing a black president was impossible in their lifetimes. Every white boy in America grew up believing that it was a least possible for them to become President one day. The same can not be said for every black boy, or every girl for that matter, black or white. Read some black columnists before you call BS, Lukie.

Translation: It's ok for blacks to vote for the black candidate because he's black, but it's not ok for whites to vote for the white candidate because he's white.
