Honestly it has been so long since I played the game that I don't really remember how hard it was..... but yeah there are a lot of examples of 'NES hard' that are basically ridiculous. I don't play video games nearly as much as I used to but most new-gen single player games are an absolute breeze. The games themselves lend to being very easy and if you get stuck, it's easy enough to look for a guide online. A lot of NES games were designed to be very tough to beat even for us hardcore video game nerds
