    Default BlackBerrys

I'm being forced to get one:

Curve, Pearl or 8800? Does anybody have experience with any of these? Pros, Cons?

I think the Pearl is out right away...I think anything but a full QWERTY keyboard would be a pain in the ass. But otherwise, I know jack about this stuff.

Forced to get one? Blackberrys are the fuckin heat! I'm using a pearl 8130 right now, due to the fact i dont really like the bulkiness of the curve. No full qwerty, but the Suretype option on the pearl is a little tough to get use to but now that I'm used to it, I love it.

Same discussion in this forum...should help

    That's a little personal!

(Just normal, I guess. Do you have to have small hands with the Pearl?)

Why would you want something that old man McCain invented? Anyway if you can wait a bit Blackberry is coming out with a flip phone version which might be pretty pimp.

blackberry is coming out with a touch screen pretty soon. I am not sure what networks will be carrying it but the sneak peaks on it seem like it will be pretty cool.

My company wanted me on their plan so I couldn't wait. I got the Pearl to replace the 8120 that I have now.

Wow, I'm surprised at how many have Pearls. Anyone with a Curve or 8800 that can chime in?

8800's run on weaksauce. I'd narrow it down to curve and pearl and decide over keyboard and phone comfort. Options and funcionality wise, they're pretty damn close.

I got a Pearl and it's the best cellphone I've ever had..

I'll go and fool around with the floor models at the store then. Thanks for the help.

Bold might be the best option, Jack, but not one my company offers.

    just arrived today

I have a question, what are you doing to get vids? What format plays on it? Is BBmessenger still free to the US from Canada with a normal data package? Anything I may not know about them that I may want to know?

FTR, get the light version so I can surf at work again.

Get Opera Mini to make your web page viewing easier

As for data package questions, I don't know. I don't have a data plan.
