    Default Chess - Game 1

    So a few of us thought it'd be cool to play a game of chess. It was my idea, so I'll start. Whoever responds first gets to be my first opponent. We can do a winner stays, loser gets replaced style thing and challengers can reply in order for a chance to play the winner. That said, here we go!

    'rilla, someone's likely to die if I enter into a battle in Kitchen Stadium. Can they call it a crime if poisoning someone was an accident?

    Others: I'm really in the mood for a long, thought out coorespondence style game. If I'm going to play games online a' la yahoo!, I'm considering it a waste of time to not be playing poker. To just make a move (or three, or a dozen) a day is completely different.

    Pretty much (assuming you're moving your queen's pawn up two spaces). With pawns you don't have to put the P, but I know what you mean either way. Also, that's still move one for you. Technically, your response would be written "1. ... d5"

    2. g3 (aka Pg3)

    the reason i asked to add me to yahoo messanger was because I dont like written games, I like real-time games, and Yahoo Messanger has an option to play chess

    Can someone set this up on a virtual board somewhere? I've played a bit of chess in my life and I'd like to watch.

    Also, it'd be a cool hack.

    Can someone set this up on a virtual board somewhere? I've played a bit of chess in my life and I'd like to watch.

    I have a little thingy that I've been using to move the pieces around and I think I can export the boards as image files, I can start posting them.

    we could always go to an actuall Yahoo Chess room, start a table and have as many watchers as we want

    The Internet sucks. I spent a long time formatting that. If HTML were turned on I'd insert a <pre>before it...

    Oh well, you might be able to get the idea from what showed up. Next time I make it I'll use underscores instead of spaces.

    Best chess site, but has a fee. Quite a bit of benefits. you can also play as a guest, and choose to meet upwith another guest and play

    If anyone is interested, assumnig they are a good poker player, I would trade chess lessons for poker lessons.
