Hi guys, I am getting a new laptop that I am hoping will last me for the next few years. I am looking to do music production, graphic design and some gaming on it. Here are the 3 that I am considering and they should be built to basically the same specs (though some options like the 18'' screen and dual graphics cards were only offered on the alienware).







Asus clearly wins in pricing but I am a bit skeptical buying it customized from a 3rd party source as they seem to not do any customization on their website. I'd probably snap buy the mac but it doesn't offer 16gb of RAM which I feel is pretty crucial if the system is going to last me a while. Also, does anyone have any experience with SSD hybrid drives vs fully SSD? I know that they still need to spin up and such but I am wondering if it matters as much as the 500 dollar increase indicates on the alienware website.
