I can't even remember now why I thought spoon was a dick. I'm an arsehole at the best of times so he was probably just taking the piss out of me and I was all like FFFFFFUUUUUUU because I gave more of a shit then than I do now. Bikes thinks I'm an idiot, but he's helped me get better at poker more than anyone on the site, as much as I hate to admit it, so he can think and say what he likes about me.

to be fair, depression sucks balls for both the afflicted and the people around them. Dealing with your own depression and dealing with someone else's depression can be equally challenging.

The reason listed for your ban was "detriment to the community". A handful of mods believed you were stifling the community through passive aggressive means. For example, the "security of information" thread. You could have PMd a mod or admin but folks felt like you were trying to "stir the pot". I don't get this at all. Surely Daven was one of the more productive/helpful members? At any rate would like an explanation to at least know how to avoid the same fate.

This banning of established posters shouldn't happen in the future without warning and an explanation. Now, all mods will be included in the decision whether to ban an established poster.

i don't understand why he was banned in the first place. Bikes introduces a questionaire for someone to select members for a study group while Daven ( guessing sivce i didn't see the post only the reference to it in his blog) seems to have proposed an open study group on irc and gets banned.

Can we no longer organize sweat/study sessions on the forum or does it all have to go through mods and admins now?

Seems ok to me, but ask the mod of the particular forum.

Also, I don't know where the study thread went. Please PM the BC mod and lmk if you need anything else.
