I don't see the appeal of posting somewhere my mom can read it.
I found myself checking the SC2 reddit more to find out about tournament schedules, but if I'm honest it's much less reliable than just checking the front page of the teamliquid forum. Rilla makes a good point. Reddit is good at filtering utter trash but it will never produce anything controversial or original.
I mostly use forums to jerk myself off, but the rare time I actually want an educated opinion on something, it wouldn't even occur to me to look for help on social media or a subreddit.
