I don't think anyone said they were offended.. I just think it's incredibly rude and in poor taste. At least have some respect for pete's sake. One of my GF's really good friends (this was long before I met her) killed herself almost a year and a half ago.. and my GF still hasn't gotten over it.

Anyways, I think this is terrible reasoning, in the most respectful way. I had this same conversation with this girl at a party last night. Shes going to southafrica in a couple months, and I just couldnt help mysefl but throw out an aids joke. And then compound it by later referring to it as gaids. Turns out her uncle had aids, and ended up being kinda black balled by the family or whatever you call it. Cuz at the time aids was looked at as a gay or drug addicts disease. Ok, so I struck a nerve, but my blunt overtly offensive humor was funny, she even admitted it. And we went on to discuss offensive jokes and came to the conclusion, you just cant get mad at someone for telling one just 'cause it hits a nerve. Because retards have family, and jews could be direct decendants (and most likely are) of halocaust victims, and black people in the US are mostly decendant of slaves, and so on. So everyone has a soft spot, so you cant go and get mad at somone for telling a suicide joke when you yourself laugh at retard jokes, know what I mean?

That being said, Im really with dalecooper on this one. I didnt know how to word it, but he put it perfectly. I just didnt see that irony in this one. Trust me I love offensive ass jokes. Even more I like offending people with them, or atleast catching people off guard, I dont even like to get laughs. Because it makes it all the more funny to me. So maybe this was midas's goal but it just didnt seem like it.

Just if youre kinda curious about my sense of humor, Ill give you an example. I was at this party last night, and this girl (ame party differnt girl) that I have seen around was there, and I just keep hittin her with corney ass lines, creative corney though. And then I go and point out how corney they are. Any ways, I jsut kept on being corney as hell but serious, then finally I was like "You know Im just messin around with these corney pickup lines, they are just funny you know? Like I dont wanna have sex with you or anything." Witch was completely honest actually, I have a girlfriend, and Im not into cheating. But it was so funny to me, but not in like a laughing way. I built it up so much with the corney jokes then there was just that super offensive harsh punch line and the look on her face was just priceless. The bonus to the joke was that, because of this, she turned out to want me even more. She pratically told me she would sleep with me that night.

Another quick example would be talking to someone and ask them a question ... as if you are actually interested. Its gotta be a good question, one that will kinda have them going on a while explaining. Then just cut them off and tell them you thought it would be polite to ask, but that you really could care less. Its such a shock, the look on thier face is just priceless. And the funniest part is you would think they would get mad, but normally they just are stunned and kinda intrigued...


So yes I have a twisted sense of humor, I like to fuck with people, but I still feel for some reason the original post was just not in good taste. And Im sorry for rambling a lot....
