    if i buy a desktop from america, how much will it cost to have it delivered to the uk?

    try configuring a computer at Dell.com and going through with the order up until the part where you have to click "place this order". You shoul dbe able to find out how much it costs by doing it that way.

    The UK has a different electrical system from North America. You usually need some kind of converter.

    I laughed anyway.
    My computer has a little switch on the back to flick it from 230V to 115V,meaning it can be used here or in America - so i suppose you'll just need to ensure it has one of these thingys
