They should make it an exercise in math class to make kids comfortable with that kind of stuff to just complicate everything into infinity, like:
2=1+1
2 = (0.999...)+((0.666)+(0.333...))
2 = (0.999...)+((0.666)+(0.333...)) / ((0.333...)+(0.666...)
(sqrt2)^2 = (0.999...)+((0.666)+(0.333...)) / ((0.333...)+(0.666...)
sqrt[[sqrt2]^2] = sqrt[(0.999...)+((0.666)+(0.333...)) / ((0.333...)+(0.666...)]
