It doesn't matter really. Ds got the House, and the Senate was never realistically within reach. Same for a lot of those guber races. If you were listening to Trumptards you were expecting everything to go even further in his direction, a "red Tsunami." So both sides typically overestimate their chances. It's like sports that way.

I saw a similar reaction on CNN. First they were like "zomg D's aren't going to win everything and then some, what a disappointment." And then later it's like "oh wait this isn't so bad." Really I don't understand how the feeling changed so much over a few hours when the outcome was basically the same at both times.
