rubbying alcohol is denaturized and something like methanol is usually added (i.e. made toxic) so that it can't be drank. this is largely to avoid liquor taxes and laws.
any alcoholic who drank rubbing alcohol to get a buzz isn't going to do it twice, either by choice or by ability.
