That's pretty tricky. Once i prefect my 2-handed approach i'll be able to pwn more than just moonlight sonata. Shame most of the 'rock' songs i've found so far are actually whiny gay emo shite tho

I just realized there are two versions of antbuster.

It doesn't allow you to get sniper 3, missile 3 etc and cannons are more expensive, i.e. much harder.

I just got to 93, easily my best effort. And I might have made it past that if it weren't for ants blocking for the last delivery boy. Let me share with you a few tips:

- Ice cannons at both the anthole and as close to the pie as possible are critical. You can't live without 'em. I had been doing two at each location, but this last game I went with just one each (both upgraded eventually to ice level 2) and they worked really well.

- Poison spray by the anthole will do some initial damage (not too effective past level 70, unfortunately) and seems to confuse the ants.

- Use snipers as much as possible, and try to space them so as to take advantage of their range. Also: more snipers = range bonus for all of them.

My config to get to level 93 was this: one poison level 2 and one ice level 2 right by the anthole, as centered as possible; four sniper level 3s spread through the middle part of the map; one ice level 2 and several sniper level 3s by the pie, basically as close to it as possible (and with the ice in the middle). I started at the hole and worked back to the pie area, and any spare money I had near the end was used to add a couple extra sniper level 3s to that area. When you get to only having one slice left and the ants have a lot of health, you need a ton of firepower (and the ice cannon for slowdown) right around the blanket so you can focus on keeping the dream alive.

Here's another run with the same setup. I didn't get quite as far - a couple ants got wise to me at the end and slipped through along the bottom to avoid my ice cannon. That really screwed me. But I still made it to 86 without much difficulty.

My setup (I actually was trying to add another sniper level 3 in the lower corner after this screenshot was taken, but I didn't get it finished... in my run to level 93 I had one more sniper, and my poison [top right] was upgraded to level 2, which I didn't bother with here):



The key is that I sold out my anthole attack to build an army around the pie. You can find a bunch of ways to kill a zillion ants at the anthole in levels 1-50, but the difference between that and level 80+ is finding a way to hang on to that last slice of pie. I do it by freezing the ant who grabs it and pouring as many sniper level 3 rounds into him as possible.

Here's a 90 I just got on Antbuster. Unfortunately I'm finding that in the highest levels you rely on a lot of luck - no matter how good your setup, you need the ant who picks up that last piece of pie to make some mistakes and not just beeline back to the hole. If he goes the wrong way or changes direction a few times, you can usually get him.
