A lot changed. I wasn't the most confident in that area when I was younger. My main focus in my early 20's was on making money and playing poker. I spent little time meeting women.

Since then, I have plenty of confidence in that area, and while it seems much easier when you are "well known" I think that plays less of a role than the sheer confidence I have in myself today. I don't believe women are as superficial as men are. Men are visual and often choose women based on looks, like a trophy wife type deal. Women are often more attracted to confidence and success then they are looks.

I don't think I'm the best looking guy in the world, but I do think that I treat women with respect without being too much of a pushover. Most women want a man who is caring, loving, and sweet, but also want a man who can be dominant, powerful, strong, charismatic, funny, and a leader. You can be both, and men who have all those traits, well, it's not a coincidence that women are more attracted to men like that.

I can honestly say that I have NEVER dated a "gold digger." I can smell them coming a mile away and immediately have no attraction to them. Any women who voluntarily says things like, "I don't care about money," or, "I'm not materialistic at all," are often REALLY into money and are also VERY materialistic lol. That's not always true, but that's been my experience over the last 10 years or so.

    Daniel,

You say that you never really used bankroll management early on in your career. At what stakes did you finally decide it was time to manage your money correctly?

What bankroll management system would you recommend for people moving up in stakes? A small amount of buy-ins with plenty of shot taking? Or a larger bankroll and slowly grinding it up from small/mid stakes?
