Must be suitable for software development and, of course, poker. I'm not much of a gamer.
Have most often used Dell laptops for work, but this will be my personal machine.

I really like my Dell Inspiron E1505 with 2 gigs of RAM, a 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo processor and a 120 gig hard drive. I bought it 6 months ago, so I'm sure you can do even better. If you go with Dell make sure you shop for a few weeks and check out all the online coupon sites (xpbargains.com is my fave, but slickdeals and hotdeals occasionally have good stuff, I'm sure there are lots more). Dell coupons can be sick. | |
