I can definitely see your point, and if they had forgotten to fill out a larger portion of the bracket (like the entire final four) I would agree with you. But if you look at both of their brackets, both of the filled out the score of the final game, they just didn't pick the winner. I think in this situation, with it being caught so early (a couple hours after the tourney started), and also due to the fact that this is a (relatively) friendly pool, that it's ok.

Now if the other members all honestly have huge problems with it then I'll probably have to go with the majority, but remember that because I'm in the pool, it hurts me too to let them pick their winners.
