They have not even shown him struggling with making the decision to not act on his supposed love. That would be the first thing they would need while keeping the integrity of the protector and khal dynamic. But they showed us nothing that could specifically point to him being in love with her, and the only reason it looks like he could is because there are not too many options to choose from, and for many that becomes a default, I guess

All of Jorah's behavior is better explained by something else, and that's probably why they've had to start telling the audience he's in love with her by straight out having other characters talk about it
