yea i was totally unaware that i needed 4th to win, i really assumed 5th wins for me which is why i clearly pushed with the AA in that spot .. its my fault for not looking at the pts and figuring if i just folded here it was clear ihategnome was going all in with that hand if not very soon or most likely someone else in the next few hands. so its partly my fault and ill still blame cuthbertt like 10% lol cause that was just brutal why to knock me out of the gauntlet title. might have been the worst finish to one of these ever!! regardless it was fun and exciting finish stacks. great job!Originally Posted by XxStacksxX
It's def a sick way to finish, but drmcboy's 'strategy' was definitely not playing in my favor, but actually quite the opposite. He began just shoving allin for like 20 hands straight, and busted like 2 players in the process. However, I don't believe Geno was aware that 4th would have sealed up the victory, and 5th was a bit of gray area. And because of this, I don't think he felt AA was a fold, even though it may have been +EV to fold AA there, just for the sake of winning the tourney.
