    Just wait till he discovers MLM's. My buddies wife that I live with is involved now in the ACN scheme. I don't know how long I can stay here, or keep my mouth shut.

    • In The Sun Cow episode of the Nickelodeon TV series, Back at the Barnyard, Otis, Pig and Abby received an e-mail from a Nigerian prince requesting for help, to which Abby replies with the farmer's credit card number and stating that the Internet does not lie.
    • In a 2009 episode of A&E documentary Intervention, a man habitually gives his family's money away to 419 scammers.
    • Two songs promoting advance fee fraud are popula in Nigeria: "I Go Chop Your Dollar - 419 Song" by Osuofia with the chorus "419 is just a game, you are the loser, I am the winner",[90] and "Maga Don Pay" (The victims pay) by Kelly Hansome, with the chorus Maga don pay, shout hallelujah. In response to this song, 9 R&B and rap artists (Banky W, Bez, Cobhams, MI, Modele, Omawumi, Rooftop MCs, The Wordsmith) released the song "Maga No Need Pay". The lyrics and the chorus Maga no need pay for me to buy correct motor, for me to take make my dough explain to the youngsters that they can make a good living and that they will help their country by staying away from advance fee fraud.

    Being able to mock something doesn't make that something baseless.

    edit wait until they get into the MLM schemes and then show them the math on how many levels of the pyramid can exist before the base requires more people than exist in the world.

    Or show them the episode of Bullshit on fast money. S08E05

    about 2 years late; good advice though. meh. Yea it is really quite futile. Either listen to shit that you know is shit or get in argument with someone who doesn't accept logic. It really blows when you are under the same roof.

    Oh god MLM... I know a chick who is convinced she is going to be able to retire in 6 months off residual income from "her business" (some MLM bs). It's a shame really, she is an interesting person, but every time we hang out it seems to turn into a business meeting.
    Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
