IMO this promotion started with good intentions but clearly turned shady once the contest was not producing the intended turnout, buzz, and traffic they expected.

The continued extensions of the deadline were desperate attempts to produce more results from this promotion.

The change in the terms and conditions of the contest was another fuckin weak ass move to save some money on a poorly planned and executed promotion.

Finally, they probably just had one of their own employees/partners/bitches create a video so they could announce that one the winner and be done with their fuck up.

This is all my conjecture, but I'm no idiot and believe this is the most likely scenario.

meh... I decided to unban him. He also markets for Sportsbook and the PO bullshit may have been out of his control. Sportsbook hasn't fucked anyone yet, as far as I know.

Although, a reply from Larry (gamblogger) to one of the 3 or so emails letting us know that he at least received our emails and that he was awaiting a decision from the PO suits would have been nice. It took nearly a month of emails and forum posts before we heard a peep from him.

When the contest first started on January 1st, the deadline was February 15th. They then extended the deadline to March 15th, then again to March 31st. Also, they DEFINITELY had changed their terms and conditions. When the official rules first went up, here is what it said:

5. PRIZES
$10,000
The contest winner will receive a deposit of $10,000 to their PlayersOnly.com account.

And about mid-March chagned to this:

5. PRIZES
The contest winner will receive a deposit of $10,000 to their PlayersOnlyVip.com account in bonus funds. Standard 20X rollover requirements apply before a withdrawal request.

So after I noticed this I got pretty pissed off and asked the guy about it. He lied straight up to me saying "I'm pretty sure that wording was always there. The only thing that's been changed was the deadline date." This is a bold faced lie as I saved the rules when I entered the contest onto my computer just in case they tried to pull something shady like this. Also another thing that pisses me off is after I pointed this out to him that they changed it, they added this (THEY NEVER SAID THIS ANYWHERE IN THEIR RULES PRIOR TO ME CONTACTING HIM):

PlayersOnly.com reserves the right to alter or amend the terms and conditions of this promotion without notice.

I mean, c'mon, how many times will I be lied to? Changing it from a $10k deposit into your account to a $10k bonus that has to be played over 20x is a HUGE difference.
