One of the first things I did in that game was drive my car straight north into the ocean, then get out and swim to Vegas (sounds weird to say that). I got the standard wanted level and was gunned down swiftly, but it was still great for the two minutes I managed to live. The great thing about that game was how it had this sense of vastness to it - the map really seemed enormous and unconquerable.
